he / him
Each of us is continually becoming who we are. We are shaped by our relationships, experiences, culture, and the stories we tell about ourselves. I believe every child, teen, and family has a unique story worth honoring. As a counselor, my goal is to create a warm, safe, and supportive space where individuals and families can explore their experiences, make sense of challenges, and discover new ways to move forward together.
I work from a narrative therapy perspective, helping clients separate themselves from the problems they face and rewrite stories that better reflect their strengths, values, and hopes. With children and families, I also use play therapy, recognizing play as a natural and powerful way for children to express emotions, build resilience, and practice problem-solving. Through games, imagination, creativity, and storytelling, therapy becomes engaging and meaningful for the whole family.
I hold Master’s degrees in Psychology, Theater, Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Before entering the counseling field, I co-founded a youth community theater program in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, where I served as a theater educator and director. My background in theater continues to inform my work through creative expression, role-play, and the belief that play fosters connection, understanding, and hope both in and out of the therapy room.
