UGONNA LOVE, LPC

she / her

I am committed to making a transformative impact in the lives of my clients, one session at a time. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Board Certified Counselor, I bring a unique blend of expertise to my role. My focus lies in working with adolescents, teens, and families, providing a holistic approach to counseling that is rooted in compassion and fidelity.

My specialized training in Narrative Exposure Therapy, and Adlerian Play Therapy enables me to create safe spaces for authentic conversations and deliver tailored interventions to meet the unique needs of my clients. I am also a registered Child Parent Psychotherapist (CPP). CPP is a relationship-based therapy that helps young children and families recover and heal after stressful and traumatic events.

I am particularly skilled in areas such as play therapy, trauma-informed care, anxiety and depression counseling, support through divorce or incarceration, faith-based counseling, and multicultural counseling.

Having graduated from Georgia State University with a Master’s Degree of Arts in School Counseling and an Education Specialist Degree in School Counseling, I am well-equipped to facilitate individual, group, and parent sessions. My practice is not just about addressing immediate concerns, but about paving the way for long-term emotional and psychological well-being.

In my sessions, my goal is to meet clients where they are, creating an environment that fosters trust and open dialogue. I am committed to making a transformative impact in the lives of my clients, one session at a time.
